Due to the continued growth, we are seeking an Yard Person to join our busy team based at Coed Y Dinas, Welshpool.
The main purpose of the job is to take lead on stock control, ensuring the yard is presented well for customers and safe for other members of the team, to help with assembly of new machinery. Agricultural machinery experience would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Control – making sure machines are labelled correctly and cross referenced with stock records
- Help with assembly of new machines
- Loading and unloading of machinery and stock and managing delivery tickets.
- Maintain a tidy and organised yards and ensure due care is given to customer and company property
- Helping wash & prep machines
- Provide excellent levels of customer service at all times
- Knowledge Agricultural Machines would be an advantage.
- Folklift/ telehandler qualification (training can be provided)
- Ability and confidence to unload and move machinery
- Communication – ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Present a professional image at all times
- A valid UK driving license is essential
- Full-time position (42.5hrs per week) with the ability to work overtime as business dictates.
