John Deere returns to LAMMA with new machinery line-up

John Deere will return to LAMMA in January 2027 with its substantial line-up of key launches into the grassland and contracting sectors over the past two years.

The show will give visitors the chance to experience the operator environment of the company’s new tractors and foragers, as well as seeing a key wrapping baler for the UK and Ireland market.

The event comes at an ideal time for the company to bring together a fleet of machines and latest innovations, including the new 6M and 6R tractors which were launched in June 2026.

Chris Wiltshire, Tactical Marketing Manager at John Deere, said: “LAMMA is the right show at the right time for us off the back of two years of major launches for the UK and Irish market.

“Some of the machines we will take to the NEC were only announced this summer so many farmers haven’t had the opportunity to get in the cab or speak to our product specialists about them.

“We are planning a strong presence and are really looking forward to showing the industry what we have to offer before a busy season of fieldwork kicks off in 2027.”

The John Deere stand will feature the new 6R and 6M tractors, as well as an F8 forager along with the new C442R wrapping baler.

The John Deere 6R is engineered for fast transport, confident handling, and premium driving comfort, both on the road and in the field.

The 6R 240 will be a key model for many farmers and contractors attending LAMMA as it adds a new, higher horsepower model to the large-frame line up.

There are a whole host of features on the new 6M to explore too. With a top speed of 50 km/h, transmission options now include the unique e19™ full powershift transmission in addition to stepless AutoPowr™, while a whole array of technology options allow customers to specify exactly what level of functionality they need for daily operations.

Farmers can choose from 17 versatile 6M models across five wheelbases.

The F8 600 forager provides world-leading driver comfort with the power and performance that operators have come to expect from John Deere. The cab has been designed to automotive industry standards, providing more space than in its 8000 and 9000 Series predecessors while at the same time being up to 6db quieter with less vibration during harvesting.

Balers are now part of John Deere’s precision ag family, aiding productivity in the field, better record keeping in the office, and more data to inform future business decisions.

The John Deere C442R is a high-performance fixed-chamber wrapping baler engineered for speed, efficiency, and operator comfort.

With features such as an optional moisture indicator and bale weighing can be combined with a location pin and counter to build a live picture of where bales are, how many have been made, and the parameters of the material inside them, aiding contractors in their own record keeping and boosting productivity.

The suite of John Deere technology options will be on show, and colleagues from John Deere Financial will be on hand to explain how the Precision Essentials package can provide a financed entry into precision farming using the company’s SmartLine facility.
